Cost

Joining the Gem State Grotto costs $15 per year. This covers either an individual or the family. Members are expected to also join the National Speleological Society.

Benefits

• When you join the GSG you get an electronic subscription to our newsletter, the Gem Caver, aimed to be released quarterly.
• You gain permission to access the grotto library. The library contains records dating back to the GSG's founding more than 50 years ago.
• You get the right to vote in grotto decisions and elections.
• You get to be a part of an organization dedicated to the exploration and conservation of caves.

How to Join

Membership goes by calendar year. Dues are not prorated.

• Attend a meeting and pay with check or cash.
• Mail a check to Gem State Grotto. Contact the grotto at gemstategrotto@caves.org for the current address.

Checks should be made payable to Gem State Grotto.
